Founder of J9 productions, Jeanine Hunchak a.k.a. J9, has been an icon in Calgary’s underground electronic and live music scene for the better part of two decades. Her energy and devotion to her passions bring a warm, positive vibrance to each and every event she moulds life into.
With what began in producing and performing her own style of burlesque shows at some of Calgary’s most discerning venues, J9productions continues to evolve into what is now bringing some of the best live electronic dance nights to YYC. These events look to showcase new aspiring DJs alongside some of the cities most respected legends behind the decks.
J9 has garnered a well-respected reputation from her peers through delivering all kinds of intimate underground events, as she is dedicated to well-branded promotions and keeps a keen eye for detail.
